The Light Surgeons plan live cinema performance that’s SuperEverything*
The UH Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, the Asia Society Texas Center and the 2012 Houston Cinema Arts Festival join forces to present The Light Surgeons in SuperEverything*, an explosive live cinema performance incorporating multiple projections across oversized screens on Nov. 9-10 at the Asia Society.

Founded in 1995 by artist and filmmaker Christopher Thomas Allen, The Light Surgeons specialize in live performance, video production and installation-based projects. Filmed on location across Peninsular Malaysia, SuperEverything* combines documentary footage and motion graphics with an original, live electronic score. Identity, ritual and place factor into this multi-media project.
