My Room at the Centre of the Universe

Prompted by the death of his Ouma (grandmother), a young boy begins a process of observation, questioning and discovery. He meets and receives information from an archaeologist, an astronomer and an artist which he takes back to his room. There he makes drawings and models in order to contextualize it within his life, and through which he continually expands his understanding of himself located both within a particular African heritage and simultaneously at the centre of an expanding universe.
