DJ Gracie Chavez of Bombón DJ Collective performs a FREE live 2 hour set in ode to Selena on Saturday, November 21, 9:30pm available on the virtual platform. In honor of the 25th anniversary of Selena’s tragic murder (1971-1995) and part of the “Urbana” themed programming.

DJ Gracie Chavez is an ambassador for the Texas music scene. She's doin it real big (DIRB!) pushing the crossover of music genres, playing a spectrum of sounds and winning folks over. And this mami is the perfect act with a pedigree heavy enough to handle any party.
A veteran DJ of the Lone Star State, she co-founded and leads up Bombón, one of the region's hottest tropical bass crews and record label. Her sharp skills and taste-making selections have also earned her Houston’s Best DJ (2016) title and influential out-of-town bookings making her a top choice for events nationwide.
She is also the founding DJ workshop instructor for Girls Rock Camp Houston, and founded Les Femmes, Texas’ best all-lady DJ crew. Gracie has been nominated for various Music Awards, including Houston’s Best Club/DJ Night, back-to-back years (2014-2016, Houston Press). Gracie is a producer/songwriter; contributing music writer, lecturer and panelist; community activist, social media influencer and a radio show host. She has performed for various festivals and conferences (Voodoo Fest 2017, SXSW Interactive + Music, Twitter 2020 Conference, Microsoft Women in Tech); opened for international artist Maluma; sporting events (Super Bowl 2017, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit), a political rally for Beto O'Rourke; and Women’s March for the State of Texas and locally (2017-2020); and future-forward branded events pushing the sounds of tomorrow.
