HCAF 2020 Virtual Launch Party
with Surprise Guests
On October 12th, at 7pm CST via YouTube Live, we will announce the lineup for our 12th Annual Houston Cinema Arts Festival, with special guests and surprises in store! This year, we will be expanding into the virtual space with virtual screenings and a virtual film pass. We are also expanding our dates across 2 weeks, beginning November 12th and ending on November 22nd. In addition, we'll be announcing the finalists for the 6th annual CineSpace competition with NASA, the inaugural finalists for our new short film competition Borders | No Borders, and detailing our theme for this year's festival: Urbana. While this year has provided so many obstacles, our team has worked tirelessly to provide amazing programming and reimaginations of what community can look like through pandemic times. This new vision fully embraces the current circumstances and provides a new vision to our festival's mantra, local meets global. We are so excited to present our vision for this festival and hope to see you there!
