HCAS is proud to expand our film and arts offerings beyond the festival through our year round programming! Due to the current crisis, HCAS is offering a myriad of virtual programs to continue to offer engaging content from the safety of your living room!

The Wild Goose Lake

HCAS is partnering with Asia Society Texas Center and HAAPI Film Festival to present a paid virtual screening of the critically acclaimed film The Wild Goose Lake, running April 13th through 19th. On April 19th at 7pmCST we will host a free virtual talkback via Facebook Live with film scholar and cultural critic Karen Fang, moderated by Artistic Director Jessica Green. Celebrating 50 Years of Earth Day: The River and the Wall

HCAS is partnering with Winston Contemporary Art and Station Museum of Contemporary Art for a FREE virtual screening of The River and the Wall in honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Participates sign up at the link in the page and will be emailed a link to the film that will be good for April 22nd. At 7PM CST, Artistic Director Jessica Green will have a conversation with Emmy-winning producer Hillary Pierce, streamed to our Facebook Live.
